For more than thirty years physicians and other medical personnel have worked in Karbala and Hilla with little or no new equipment, supplies, or training. Their desire to help their people is as great as the desire of physicians in the United States or any other country. But, they have been limited by the former government that was determined to keep them decades behind in the field of medicine.

With that government gone and another in the process of taking positions of leadership, the opportunity to help has arrived. Already Innovative Humanitarian Solutions has shipped two forty-foot containers of equipment/supplies and had many trunks of smaller items delivered by short-term.

But one of the needs the physicians continue to express is to learn the latest research and methods so they better care for their people. Two individuals have already given $7,500 to help the hospital in Karbala have access to the internet and the wealth of information there.

Now our goal is to set up a web site to which they can send questions, case studies, etc. When their question reaches the web site an email will be sent to a selected group of physicians who can help them. When the help is posted on the same web site an email will automatically be sent to the physicians in Karbala so they will know the response is waiting for them. The dream is to eventually link physicians in other countries to this same web site.

Needed Now:

  1. Someone who can develop the web site.

  2. Finances for the web site and possibly some additional equipment for the hospital in Karbala.

  3. Internet access for the hospital in Hilla.

The cost is unknown. We are praying someone will help who can help determine the cost and the steps in developing this project.
